I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is my second Susan Mallery book and I must say her writing is simply addictive. Second Chance Girl tells the story of Carol who has low self-esteem and doesn’t see how she could ever attract a man like Mathias ever. It just doesn’t seem to be plausible since Mathias is super attractive and Carol doesn’t see herself especially attractive in any sort of way.

Where do I begin with a Colleen Hoover book review? If you’re new to Colleen Hoover and have not read any books of hers then you probably need to grab a seat, drink some water, and get comfortable because there is ALWAYS so much to discuss. Her plots and characters are not something easily digested in on sitting. Most of the times, it leaves you thinking and thinking about motivations of characters, their flaws, and their actions. You have to kind of look at everything layer by layer in order to really appreciate something Colleen Hoover writes. This review won’t probably do it justice because I’m sure I’ll forget to express something but I’m going to try my best.
