Not to brag but I’ve been taking my self-care beauty routine really seriously lately and my skin feels fantastic! Okay, let’s be clear about this. I’m definitely not a beauty guru or expert and highly doubt what I’m saying on this post is 100% correct. However, I just wanted to share a few things I have been regularly using in my routine to really feel like a million bucks and I want you to feel that way too.
The following post is lists out products I include in my routine and brief explanations of what I personally do to make myself feel like a new person. Hope you enjoy!
1. Take Off Your Makeup
My favourite part of my routine is removing all the layers of makeup I put on in the beginning of the day. I usually wipe off all of it with micellar cleansing water and baby wipes (they’re a whole lot cheaper and work the same than makeup remover wipes) before I do a wash. The wash I use usually has some acne treatment in it to prevent pimples from forming and to really get into my pores and remove all the dirt and oil.

I like to think I watch a lot of Youtube. Instead of reading, getting absorbed into a new TV series, or start a movie I would most likely not finish in one sitting, I like opening the Youtube app on my phone and sinking into a two hour binge of random videos before I go to bed. I’m not going to be featuring any Booktubers on this post simply because they deserve a separate post but if you want to discover new channels on topics like comedy, news, and lifestyle then definitely keep reading this post!
College Humor has been a successful sketch comedy Youtube channel ever since I was in middle school or highschool and that was like 10 years ago. They make a lot of sketches on a wide range of topics including politics, social norms, and popular media. I usually pick out things to watch based on the titles and which cast member is featured in the picture. My favourite cast member had to be Zac Omaya who had original witty content.

Publication: February 26th 2019
Susan is the new girl—she’s sharp and driven, and strives to meet her parents’ expectations of excellence. Malcolm is the bad boy—he started raising hell at age fifteen, after his mom died of cancer, and has had a reputation ever since.
Susan’s parents are on the verge of divorce. Malcolm’s dad is a known adulterer.
Susan hasn’t told anyone, but she wants to be an artist. Malcolm doesn’t know what he wants—until he meets her.
Love is messy and families are messier, but in spite of their burdens, Susan and Malcolm fall for each other. The ways they drift apart and come back together are testaments to family, culture, and being true to who you are.
